The answer to “Tell me about yourself” we practice in the mirror pre-interview -- the effort to sound confident but not robotic. Casual, but on-point. Perfect, but human. We practice being ourselves. Somehow, it’s the toughest role to improvise. We run the lines to make sure we get the moment right -- at least, to make sure we don’t get it wrong. Practice flips “Can I?” into “I can.” It’s exposure.
